So many people!

Too many people!

They talk about

Work and hobbies.

They cheers drinks

And celebrate.

Everyone is talking,

To loud, I want to scream!

Sitting in the corner,

People ask if I’m

Okay.

“I’m fine,” I say

With a smile.

Lies and short answers,

To turn people away.

I am not okay nor fine.

I need to cry,

But

I can’t,

People will try to comfort me.

It’s their presence making me want to,

Leave,

Me alone.

I want to

Leave.

Leave!

*I don’t like this poem that much because I wanted to focus more on the person’s social battery draining and then being completely low. I sort of forgot I was planning to do that while writing so I just focused on the person’s battery being dead/extremely low.
