Throwing myself out there shivering and uneasy A new feeling Dealing with insecurity doubt and my stomach feeling queasy Throwing myself into social situations was always so hard A nervous time But I’ve reawakened and I’m dropping my guard Throwing myself in a brand new world An exercise in bravery And I dance and dance and spin and twirl Throwing is like a muscle I use everyday Expressing my soul In new and creative ways Throwing my cares forever away I’m courageous and bold I’m diving head first into the fray I will be happy grounded and free Exposed to a joy That has always eluded me
