As I looked in the mirror I saw what I didn’t like I saw a monster And I wished that I Wasn’t me I wished that I could change Everything So I wasn’t so different and strange I wanted to be like the rest I didn’t get it I wasn’t asking to be the best I just didn’t want to be this That was the old me Back in the high school days But I learned that I just really Needed to change the way I saw myself in the mirror
