Hope can carry you forward.

It can give you something to look ahead for even if you don't know for sure it will happen.

or how.

If you aren't attached to the hope, life will always surprise you with an abundance of blessings,

more than you could have ever imagined.

Sometimes though,

when hopes are riding high,

way high.

You can get really excited.

And when you get really excited,

but it's not here yet and you don't know how to get there,

the mind tries to figure out the how.

And when you think you know the how,

before it even begins,

you can get really discouraged.

Because in your plan this didn't happen,

or it wasn't the person you thought it would be,

that relationship that you though was going to fufill your dreams ends up being the person who draws you far far away from who you truely are.

You think you are crazy for dreaming.

You think you are silly for thinking that you were somehow worthy or deserving.

You downplay your experience because nothing ever goes how you think it will.

So you pout and you pout.

Till you find your way out.

You turn that hope and you turn it into trust.

Trust in yourself.

Trust that no matter what happens you are strong enough.

Capable enough.

Worth enough.

You decide that whatever hope you have, and whether it does or does not come true,

that you are already whole as you are.

You take that hope and you turn it into inspiration.

You take that hope and you make it happen.
