It’s sad

It’s sad that we’re forced to have this anger in our blood

In our bones

This irritability

It over takes us

And I’m not judging that

I’m not saying that I don’t understand

Because I do

I have that anger too

But I hope that’s not the only thing you see when you look onto the world

Onto the earth

Because there’s so much more than that

People are beautiful

With complex lives

And complex dreams

Every person you see has a life

Hopes

A past

And a future

And the reality of this life is

We’re all just trying our best

We’re all just getting by

But I hope

More than anything

That you see the beauty

That you see how the earth Is filled with love

We just have to be open to it
