POEM STARTER
Start a poem with an onomatopoeia and end it with a different one.
An onomatopoeia is a word that mimics the sound of something such as bark, boom, or screech. These sounds can tell a story if used effectively!
I Jumped
BAM!
I jumped
What the hell?
I felt a chill
And was too afraid
To turn to see what I
Knew was behind me. I feared
The worst. And that made it much worse
I gained the courage to turn. My fist
Clenched tight. i twirled. it swayed and i missed. WHOOSH!
