WRITING OBSTACLE
Write a paragraph or short story from the perspective of someone who feels disappointed.
You do not have to reveal what the character is disappointed about, nor do you have to make them overtly upset, but you should focus on the small signs and behaviours that show their emotions.
Not Mad Just Disappointed
I’m disappointed in my wife Angie. My wife and I were across the world from each other, she was not feeling happy, So- never mind I’ll just show the text. You can call me Mike.
Mike: Hey baby how are you today?
Angie: Not doing so well.
Mike: What, why what’s going on?
Angie: I can’t stand not being with you, it’s heartbreaking not waking up to you next to me.
Mike: Aww I’m sorry love, you know I have just four more weeks till I get back!
Angie: I know but it’s just to hard.
Mike: Just tough it out it hurts me too, but call me later Im almost done with work for today. Love you Angie!
Angie: I love you too. I guess I’ll see you later.
Three weeks passed and I haven’t heard from Angie, I decided to go home early from my work trip. When I got home I was shocked to see my house demolished. I called the police and they told me to arrive at the police department.
I arrived and they handed me the note that my wife left me.
Dear Mike, I’m sorry I couldn’t wait for you to come home, I was already depressed enough.
I missed waking up to you snoring next to me
And waking up late for work. I miss making you breakfast I’m sorry Mike, I couldn’t wait no more
This is where my story ends, goodbye Mike I love you sooo so much❤️ goodbye, love Angie.
She committed suicide my heart was forever broken.
