Numbness… everything around me is static. I'm floating in space, watching the world grow and thrive as I am stuck in time. Trying to find out why I'm still alive. No one knows this pain.. No one knows how much I'm drained. No one sees me behind closed doors, no one will see me when I'm no more. Stuck in time, numb and blind, I go through life like I'm alive. A walking corpse I chant “no more!”. to take my life is the only relief i may find. Life is a dream but I'm not asleep, I'm dead.. Slowly decomposing in my bed. My bodily fluid will seep through my bed, seeping deeply just like the knife that took my life. I will continue living my life to the end, as if I'm alive and not dead. A walking corpse I truly am, surviving this so-called life makes me lose my appetite. Determined to stay alive, i cry till my eyes go dry. Filling this void in my heart with empty calories. I drag my body through each day, crossing the finish line of this race of brutalities. I take a sigh of relief “ah.. I’m finally here”. I will forever be free - free from this disease. I will run into his arms and cry.. until this sadness flees. He will fervently hold me close and say “well done my good and faithful servant”.
His master replied, “Well done,
good and faithful servant!
You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and shore your master's happiness!"
