Andrew is the sun peaking through the gray clouds as it rains

Forever returning bright though his light may be dimmed

And Justin is the rain that pours

Heavily at first then a calm drizzle

They’re like when you flip your pillow over to the cold side

Or take a hot shower after freezing in the cold

They’re sunsets at the beach

And sunrises in the morning on your way to school

They’re everything I need and more

Justin is my savior

He’s the miracle doctor that saved me from myself

Andrew is my euphoria

Leaving long lasting bursts of happiness and teaching me new ways to grow

But of course Drew doesn’t realize he’s impacted my life

I’ve learned so much from Andrew and Justin

They’ve encouraged me to be myself

They’ve helped me grow and mature

And I’ve finally learned to have fun

I learned that it’s okay to slack off every once in a while

They’re the warmth of a fireplace

That brings solace on a lonely winters day

They’re water

Essential and always there when I need it

They always seem to know when I need them

My perspective has changed

My confidence has grown

They’ve built me up from my crumbled state

Like legos that have been destroyed

I’d put their needs above my own in a heart beat (I already have)
