in the universe’s hearth
Sapphire crystalline seas,
glissading through my glossy grasp.
Sweet salt sifting in the breeze,
slipping from my desperate clasp.
I realize as I weep:
there’s none my heart can keep.
Bless Solitary Me like the others, Universe.
These empty places leave me far, far worse.
What can endure this state, when all I have is this soloing weight?
_Wander, Wanderer, wander._
_Someone will find you sooner,_ you whisper.
_Wander, Wanderer, wander._
_Don’t leave your soul unseen,_ you beg me.
I lay in your hearth,
but there’s never any warmth.
A barren land, my soul’s swarth.
I mourn the hiding of my heart, feeling so alone.
I let the acidic tears seep through all my bones.
I shiver, too, feeling like deadened ashes.
And yet your small touches elicit me with ember flashes.
