If you take the flame from a candle

It doesn’t go out

It may burn brighter still.

The sweet sort of light can easily be love.

The piercing flame that a large fire brings

Is far closer to lust than the feeling of love.

It doesn’t burn out.

Put out by a steady stream of water.
