The world falls asleep

Afraid of the dangers

That lurk in the dark

The dark covers

What humans love to see

It keeps secrets

From the most honest people

But really it’s harmless

A blanket lulling us to sleep

It protects what need protecting

It sees what can’t be seen

Take the stars for example

That can’t be seen during the day

But with night comes darkness

And darkness brings stars

But
