WRITING OBSTACLE

Write a multi-POV story from the perspective of three different people across the globe looking at the same thing.

What could they all be looking at and how might they percieve it differently?

Looking At Stars

“Look, Mama! It’s the sky” the twinkling stars are so bright in the sky. “Mama? Would I be able to make a wish?” The little boy looks curiosly at his mother his eyes shining bright. “My dear, we will see one, and when you do wish for something great.”

The boy looks on in excitement ready to see shooting stars to make a wish.

Sitting on car with all his friends just quiet not wanting to make any noise.

“ Hey, look it’s a star!” Laughter unfolds.

“Making wishes on starts are stupid.” The friends say and yet one doesn’t think it is. He believes it creates hope.

“I don’t think they are..”

“Aww little baby believes in myths!” Laughter

“I don’t, it makes me have hope!”

“Ha, little baby believes in hope, you know what baby, that ‘stuff’ is stupid”

“If you say that your insecure.”

“Then we are going to teach you a lesson”

Sitting there all alone. Looking at the stars in the sky. Waiting for a dream. Wanting a life of happiness. My tears come from my eyes as think about life. I look up and see a shooting star through my tears. It glistens like it knows my misery. I make a wish and hope it comes true.
