POEM STARTER

โYouโve come back, but I no longer need you.โ
Write a poem or short story including this line.
latecomer..
You came back, but I don't need you anymore.
Where is the old warmth? Where is the sadness in your eyes?
Everything is trampled, abandoned, crumpled into puddles,
And the old conversation is lost in words.
I waited, I was silent at the old entrance,
I wandered like a shadow among the ears of corn in the garden,
But spring rushed by, and different weather
Whispered to me: "Don't wait, he won't come to the pond."
You stand, but a stranger, not embarrassed, not repentant,
Like a passerby who found the wrong door.
And your calm, empty gaze looks through me,
As if you didn't swear to me to return.
Why did you come if everything is without return?
If in my heart there is no melancholy, no fire?
You came back. Go. I don't need anything else.
There are no meetings, no forgiveness, not a day left.
