Dust
Our far away trip started, with a huge wind storm
It was a dry and somewhat, dusty day not warm
Endless mounds of earth like powder, or we thought
While our party of six was prepared, with store bought
When night fell upon us we camped, and searches the skies
Looking for any clues where we were, was it really all lies
When the bright glaring sun, awoke us the next monthly day
We thought we smelled the ocean, but it seemed to faraway
We spoke of lobster and crab, and all the wonderful life of the sea
As we climbed the dunes and actually tasted the salt, could it be
Our mind and eyes did not match, as we came upon a baby seal
What the heck is this ocean creature here, it’s a big big deal
It’s small bark and a flap of its fin, and our adventures will begin
We followed his sandy trail, which led to the ocean beyond within
As we screamed in happiness, and we claimed our fun land victory
We stripped off our dusty dirty clothes, jumped into the wet cool sea
