WRITING OBSTACLE
Write a series of letters exchanged between two best friends separated by conflict.
Try to develop your characters as much as possible while using only letter form. What relationship do they have, and how is it altered by conflict?
Letters
As I was entering my porch some ominous feeling made me turn back. I nervously went to check the mailbox. She had the audacity to send another letter! Her letter read:
Dear Anastasia,
I sincerely hope this letter does NOT find you well, and I hope your new friends do the same thing to you you did to me. I will tolerate speaking to you when I need something, and that’s it. Remember to write back with your part of the project because I’m not doing everything for you. You can’t use me, again. And…..
