Texting For Six Hours Straight

Under the sky,

our words wove wonders,

Jealous boys brood in silent spite,

Best friend's ex,

his presence plunders,

I find delight in our dialogue's light.

Six hours slip in seamless speech,

Boys' bitterness barely masked,

His eyes hold truths they cannot reach,

In every conversation,

I'm unasked.

Infinite insights ignite our night,

Jealous jests just shadows cast,

My heart hears harmony in his light,

Past pains dissolve as we converse fast.

Bound by bonds beyond their grasping gaze,

Boys' bewildered by this simple sight,

Exchanges endless under starlit haze,

With him,

my soul takes flight.
