I’m sitting on the edge looking up at the stars

With curiosity so high, higher than bars

A friend on my left points to the moon

And tells me that’s where they’re going soon

Now I’m here all alone

I look at the stars still in the zone

“Are you at the moon” I point to it too

A star twinkles and I know it’s you

Even though you are gone I can’t help agree

We had each other and now you are free

I’ll be going with you soon so don’t grow despondent
