High Above The City

I sleep in the clouds until I am needed below,

Evergreen forests of beauty I’ll someday grow

That is until they came and stole my dreams away,

Now I shed tears that flow onto cities of ugly grey

I have never really took well to grief,

So now it’s they who will pray for relief

So high above the city I wait and grow,

and throw thunderous tantrums to spite them below
