“Where are you going Jonas?” Bri asked

Jonas looked back at Bri with tears in his eyes

“Away,” Jonas replied

“Why??” She wondered

“Because u have to get away from mother, this is my only chance to go before she gets back!!” he responded quickly

“Will you come back??” Bri asked confused

Jonas sniffled and went down on one knee

“I can’t…” Jonas cried

“Why not??” Bri asked

Jonas kissed Bri on the forehead and hugged her tightly

“It’s not safe for me here…” Jonas whispered

“Well can I come too??” Bri asked

Tears are now falling out of Jonas’ eyes

“No, baby girl you have to stay here” he responded

“Why!?” Bri screamed “I want to go with you!!”

“Listen to me if mother ever hurts you, run” he said quickly
