There’s a relief in feeling the storm’s approach

It’s been brewing for a while, but I’m far more ready than most

Tears prepared me for the rain, turbulent times for the thunder

I choose to stand in it for there is nothing to hide under

As the clouds grow dark and lightning strikes as it may

I have no fear of this moment, it’ll soon be yesterday
