I dreamt of supremacy and hard work to come

Imagined an unconscious fate

And wondered if my fighting was done

I floundered over love and it’s constant comfort

Felt warmth within his arms

And emotions for each other

I set goals for a future to achieve a great honor

Pushed beyond all limits

And became a wondrous scholar

I found hope within a thought to become the best

Relied on my knowledge

And dealt with the rest

I cried endless tears of emotional pain

Worked hard on myself

And put my past away

Suddenly my dreams were all coming true

I had been assigned to a destiny

That I had always wanted to pursue

So finally I looked up and started to feel

That my childhood was coming to an end

And it was all becoming real
