POEM STARTER
If wishes fell like rain, then certainly I am a storm.
Write a poem with this as the opening or closing line.
If Wishes Fell Like Rain.
If wishes fell like rain, the certainly I am a storm.
For I give and I take, but forever wish for more.
It’s in the human nature, still that does not mean it is pure.
We think we deserve everything, because of the pain we are required to endure.
What about the pain we cause? Why must it have different value then the pain we store?
May I suggest, humane nature is poor. We killl each other in war, we are different behind closed doors.
Personally, I believe there was no before. Humans were never uncontaminated.
Humanity is not compassion, it is animosity.
Greed and pride are monstrosities, that rule anonymously.
So if wishes fell like rain, perhaps we all would die. The world would become flooded, the soil oversaturated, and all wishes unmet.
