Write a poem which starts with the description of a sunrise, and ends with a sunset.
Dawn And Dusk
Earth,
She dances with beautiful light,
Caressing and warming and relinquishing night.
She blesses us with orange, the yellow and the red,
Earth wakes us up from our deep sleep in bed.
Her magical presence at the crisp, early dawn
Can tickle the eyes and wake us once more,
For the colourful skies that wrap round our views,
Are mesmerising, captivating, and ethereal too.
Earth,
She walks with eternal grace,
Turning and moving and hiding her face,
Crying out for darkness when it all gets too bright,
And brings out the moon for a cooler light.
Before moon comes rolling in,
The skies turn purple-grey,
As Earth, she likes to prove her power
With dusk, gloom and shade.
She reminds us that it’s now time
To be tucked-in for sleep,
Earth closes one eye,
And never fails to peep.
