The poison spread within seconds, quickly tightening it’s grasp and melting into my blood and DNA. A quick shock of my body alerts me its taking it’s first breath. I’m no longer in the drivers seat. I no longer have to be my own problem. I’ve just willfully handed over the keys and taken a backseat. I can now sit back and enjoy the show from someone else’s perspective.

“Don’t worry, the demon assures her in Sarah’s voice. I’ll make sure I return your body to you intact when I’m finished.” 

“Take your time, replied Sarah . I’m in no rush. In fact you can keep my human suit for as long as you like. I have no desire to return.”

As the darkness fully consumed her veins she felt the evil take over.

“As you wish”, the demon laughed.
