Ocean Eyes

She is holding him in her embrace and she tells him: “I am standing here all by myself, with no one by my side, I just feel like I’m the only one.

He speaks to me in dead words, saying things that I just can’t understand! I smile sadly at him and my eyes are full of tears and doubts. But he walks away from me, with satisfaction in his eyes. He stabs me in the back with his sharp lines and leaves me breathless.”

He comes silently in the room and sits in silence, whispering at her: “I can’t handle it anymore! She only sees what she wants, what she thinks it’s right and she won’t even look at me in the eyes. I try to reach her, but it feels like I’m screaming in the dark. I’m dying on the inside, it breaks my heart to know that she has ocean eyes! I can’t even speak, I’m like a blind man in the middle of the night, not knowing what his love faces on the inside. She is hiding away in fear, avoiding me and running away of all of our memories. I’m talking in my head with these ghosts, ‘cause her heartless absence is driving me insane! And I stay here like a fool, living in the shadows and drowning in the rain!”
