WRITING OBSTACLE
Describe an object’s temperature without using words relating to tactile senses.
Tactile senses, or the sense of touch, are usually what we use to identify whether something is hot or cold. Without this sense, how else can we recognise and describe temperature?
Heat
The sun on a saturday morning
Beautiful shades of orange and red
seeping through the windows
Fresh baked cookies
Soft in the middle and a crunch on the edges
Bundeled up in blankets
reading late at Night
Laundry fresh out of the dryer
A wonderful delight
A cup in my hands
Giving me strength and energy
A firm hug
Holding me peacefully
A blush creeping into my cheeks
An overused screen
A day for popsicles
And a black car interior
The colors
The feelings
The textures
The memories
Of heat
