POEM STARTER

Write a poem in which every line begins with the first letter of your name.

While this isn’t a conventional poetic form, it is interesting to play around with constraints. See how many words connect to your name!

Terror is real and infects the mind,

Every day it gets harder to find,

Reality twists, bends and sometimes breaks,

Rational thoughts tremble as they feel they are fake,

Yet between the two is where you can find both are real!

Sometimes they fuse together leaving you unable to feel,

As reality slowly slips away beyond the brain,

Lingering near an illusion it leads you insane,

Many fight with all their might but left with results all in vain,

My minds begins to twist, bend, but both feel like lies,

On and on it continues until the ending of time,

Never again to be whole just pieces of a soul that’s been let behind!
