Fishin’ In The Dark.
The water lapped against the wood of the fishing boat. It was early morning, the perfect time for fishing. The sun rose on the horizon bathing the sky in a soft rosy light. I had already caught two fish so I would be okay if I didn’t catch a third. Spotting something in the grass, I came ashore. When I parted the bushes I saw a dead body lying in the cold mud. Horrified I put the bushes back and scampered back up the path and jumped in the pickup at the top of the hill. I started the truck but it coughed and wouldn’t start. I tried again and still it wouldn’t start. I looked behind me. Nothing was there even though I could have sworn that the ghost had followed me. When I looked forward I saw that same ghost in my windshield.
