I always loved the horses, and why wouldn't I? They are as pretty as a sunset on a clear summer day and strong enough to carry Mama, Papa, William, and me in our wagon as we cross the plains of Wisconsin, heading to our new home in Colorado.

Great work, I like the simile you chose to describe the beauty of the horses! It would be cool to see this piece expanded on and to get to know more about the characters’ journey to Colorado.
