The Inevitable Death
_As she lay there on the cold floor, warm tears running down her cheeks, all she could think of was him. But of course, she was thinking about him; after all, he was the reason for all the suffering. On the other hand, maybe he wasn’t the reason—maybe she was. She had poured so much of herself into the relationship that she was starting to lose herself. The infamous relationship cliché. As her soul slipped through her tears and a part of her withered away, there it was: the glimpse of hope that always came around. The light at the end of the tunnel. And so the cycle began again, until one of them broke it. Something had to die—his ego or her heart._
