Wonder Land
All in a golden afternoon, under the skies of cloudless blue.
But there’s no Alice here to ponder, on the vivid azure hue.
Only me left to my thoughts, I wonder what I ought to do.
It feels like there’s no place for me, in a world that has no you.
The color in the world is fading, as it was more than likely to.
Now my thoughts are gray and formless, in my dark and silent room.
It’s hard to think what might be different, if we had walked each other’s shoes,
But now there’s no more cloudless blue, no more golden afternoon.
