My Ocean
Looking at the night
At the darkest time
Nothing but light
When i look in your eyes
But when your eyes close’s
Mine fills with tears and hurt
Hate and love
Shame and anger
Anxiety and disgust
Pain and fear
All at ones
All in one tear
One tear when you look away
One tear
All my thoughts
Long hidden in the shadows
Now slowly escaping
One tear after the other
Forming a puddle
Slowly forming a lake
Turning in to a sea
Which is now an ocean
An ocean filled with my emotions
So beautiful from the surface
But deep deep down
In the darkest and coldest waters
Is where everything is hiding
I have always been in the puddle
That turned in to the lake
That turned in to the sea
That turned in to the ocean
I am used to drowning
But when I am drowning in my ocean
You are always there with a lifebuoy
Pulling me up to the surface
I am still in the water
But now breathing
