The buildings that once stood as high as the clouds now lie on the ground, burned and broken. The houses built in the city were very scattered now, and if one happened to be mostly intact, it was either abandoned or being used as a monster’s hideout. If it was the latter, there would be skeletons piled up outside, all flesh ripped from their bones. Other bones were scattered around the city by the eerily green, radioactive winds, which kind of explained why all of the bones had a slight green tint. The atmosphere was no longer breathable, leaving Earth unsuitable for any non-monster lifeforms. The Earth no longer rotated either, so depending on which side you were on, you’d either be stuck in a permanent night or a never-ending day. Humans never would’ve lived long enough to adapt to this new, desolate Earth.
