Bird

I fluttered out of the way once again, easily dodging what I assumed was yet another failed attempt to capture me. I had never actually taunted death and danger before, but I couldn’t help myself. He was curious. This spindly hatching of a human. The only humans I had ever encountered had been real threats...muscular, bronzed by the sun, skilled, and usually possessed some sort of weapon. This one was a pathetic pale, quickly turbo red from the salty heat. He’s only real weapon seemed to be his mouth as he spewed hateful, empty threats in my direction with each pitiful lunge.
