I was minding my business on the subway when a girl who looked too pretty to be real sat by me. She had blonde hair with a pink dress. For some reason, I had this weird feeling for her. Cupid are you kidding me? Her blue eyes shine like the sky. “Hello, Eve,” she said in a very regal tone. She sounded like a… goddess. Weird. Wait how does she know my name? “Um, hi. You are?” If she said Taylor Swift I wouldn't be surprised. “Aphrodite,” she said in a low voice. Where have I heard that? History… Greek... Oh my god, she's the goddess of love. But she's not real right? “You- you’re a god,” I stammered. “Yes, of course, have all humans forgotten about us. Oh wait you have different… things,” she said. “So do you want something with me,” I try to breath. “Well… yes.”

**_MARLO_**

I sat down in the cafeteria. No one ever sits with me because I’m wierd. Then someone sits next to me. That’s a first. She has storm gray eyes and light brown hair. She smiles softly. “Hi, my names Ath- Atley,” she said softly. “Hey, my name is Marlo,” I said slowly. We were learning about Greek mythology in history and when she said Ath it reminded me of something. Oh my god. Athena. “You- you’re Athena?” “Yes, and I need your help.” A god just asked me for help. That’s a first. “Yeah?” “I have a-“ she pulled out something made out of metal. “H-“

_**“And so I’m supposed to find a helm that I have never even heard of, then return it to the far by _worst_ god,” I said sighing. “That’s about it,” Aphrodite said causally as if she makes little girls do the gods bidding every day. “Follow me,” she walked downtown. _She is not who she says she is,_ a voice whispers in my head. Who is not who she says. Why did my head tell me this. What if it wasn’t my head. I follow Aphrodite thinking about it. Then I realized. I was about to meet the god of the underworld. And he probably wouldn’t give me cupcakes.
