POEM STARTER
Write a poem about a minor inconvenience.
This may help you articulate nuanced emotions that are not outright exaggerated and over the top.
Your Inconvenience
I don’t want to look at you,
But your eyes are magnetic,
A brown, deep black hole aesthetic,
I could fall into your eyes,
You lure me in, but are apathetic.
Your eyes deepen to a gloomy black,
You look through me.
I know you could never like me back,
I look away, as to not torture myself,
I try to not love you,
Your eyes are no help.
