Today I went up scared to do anything. Today was presentation day. We had to do topic about Shakespeare. When I went up I saw Kardon looking back at me giving me a thumbs up. My heart went a flutter as I looked at him and I started getting butterflies. As I spoke about my research my mind kept going back to kardon. His brown eyes watching me intently. Taking in every word I say. I need to tell him I thought. So after school today, nervous and scared to do anything I went up to him.

“ kardon, I know this is abrupt but there is something I need to say” he looked surprised at what I meant and he grinned.

  “Go ahead Avery.”

   “I have feelings for you I don’t know if it’s love or simple crush but I like you.” I stuttered. He looked at me shocked. 

   “Avery I like you but more like a sister. My heart is with someone else.” He looked down and started walking away to his ride. I was in shock. My knees started shaking and I just walked away hoping not to see him again for a long time.
