I heard a whisper once

Maybe it was the sound of my own breath

Or the hope of something more.

I heard the whisper again

This time more agile and infuriated

More or less,it was heard.

So much going on in my brain

Yet its the only thing to make me feel sane.

Now yearned and wanted more then ever before

for it was the first to knock at my door.

The only one to not leave at the fright.

Knowing I was going crazy.

The only one to call me his baby.
