Cheating, Lying, And Persuasion

I just scoffed and glared at him. His shaggy gold bangs mocking me as they bounce up and down. His brown eyes sparkling as he glared back at me. I wanted to punch him, and the other girl who seemed to just hang on his broad shoulders. God, I was so blind. He hurt me so much physically and mentally.

“It’s ok,” Amira stated. Shes my best friend. She grabbed my shoulder and stared me in the eyes to achieve my attention. “We’ll get them back, both of them.” I nod firmly, agreeing with her. I touch my eye lightly. It still hurt from that punch, from that girl who seemed to be his whole world. As I sauntered into the restroom I observed my purple eye and watched a tear fall down my cheek. As put some water on a paper towel to press on my eye, she traveled in through the door.

“Ugh, it’s you,” she said in disgust. I rolled my eyes and scoffed. “I like how your eye is purple. It takes away from the fact that your face is ugly and gives a more, deformed vibe.” She smirked with a grin up to her ears. I continued to press the wet towel on my eye.

“Well at least I know lies when I hear them. You know he’s lying to you yet I guess you just can’t admit it,” I snapped back.

“You wanna keep talking because I can give you another black eye.” She added.

“Do you really want to do that?” I responded pointing to a stall that someone was in. “You don’t want to get suspended. Again.” I say smirking and crossing my arms. She started to get annoyed.

“You know what you did though,” she replies. I blankly stare at her for a hot second.

“I didn’t do anything. I literally told you that he was cheating on the BOTH of us. You really think that it was my fault?” I respond, questioning her.

“Yes, because you persuaded him,” she addressed. I just laughed scoffing.

“He’s got you wrapped around his finger and he’s just using you. You have to believe me,” I say trying to make her believe and forget the lies he told her.

“I just can’t,” she answers observing her shoes. I stormed out of the restroom to get to him. As I saw him in the hallway leaning against the wall watching his phone, I darted towards him. My rage filled me and the tone of my voice. As I pounded the tile floors with each step he glanced up. As I got close to him I pushed him against the wall.

“You are really gonna just keep lying to her,” I ask, questioning him, trying to force it out of him. His hands hover over my shoulders down to my waist. He glances at my lips and as his hands move back up towards my chest and I see what he’s trying to do. I clasp his hands and throw them off of me. “Don’t do this, why do you think cheating and lying and the…persuasion is ok?”

“I uh, I don’t know,” he responds acting stupid as always. I sneer and scrunch my face up at his words.

“You’ll get what you deserve; I’ll make sure of it,” I respond backing up, storming away like a thunder cloud.
