Water, fire, earth, and air. What would the four elements say if they could speak to each other?
Include as many or as few elements as you wish.
Harmonious Dissonance
Earth: “I’m just so sick of feeling so heavy all the time, I wish I could be more like you, and just go with the flow.”
Water: “I may be adaptable, but sometimes I still feel suffocated and like my emotions get the better of me.”
Air: “I feel like that too, but at least you’re not always being made fun of for having your head in the clouds.”
Fire: “If only that was my fatal flaw, I am destruction incarnate.”
Earth: “But fire, every time you pass over me, new growth still springs up in your wake.”
Water: “Earth, you may not know it but you’re adaptable too - sometimes it just takes a little longer to wither down your rough edges.”
Air: “Water - you may be suffocating at times and lose control, but you also bring forth new life and maintain the lives of almost all living beings on Earth.”
Fire: “You could say the same thing about yourself air.”
Earth: “I think if we all stay grounded and subjective, we can see the flaws and the good in each of us.”
Air: “Grounded? What is that supposed to mean?”
Water: “Hey, she didn’t mean anything by it…”
Fire: “Why are you always taking the Earth’s side? Is this some weird guilt thing for your years of silent erosion?
Water: “Why do you always have to destroy a good moment?”
Mother Nature: “I told you this family reunion would NEVER work.”
Father Time: “Give it time.”
