WRITING OBSTACLE
Your character is stuck inside a rapidly deflating bouncy castle at a fair.
In this scene, juxtapose their panic with the joyful surroundings of a summer fair.
I’m here for you!
…And sometimes life feels like a bouncy castle,
And sometimes history would feel the same.
When all the walls are crushing down around you,
When no one’s left for you to point the blame,
Reach out to me, they’re laughing in dismissal!
Hold on to me, they’re partying on the street!
I’m here for you, I’ll win through every battle!
Just don’t let go, stand proud onto your feet!
And I don’t know who needs to read this poem,
But, if you’re here, just know you’re not alone.
When life ain’t nothing but a bouncy castle,
When they pass by, so blind to all the pain,
I will make sure your crying ain’t in vain.
I’ll be right here, with you, until the storm is gone.
