Write a Somonka from the perspectives of two lovers. A Somonka is made of two Tankas, with the second responding to the first.
A tanka consists of five lines with a syllabic structure of 5-7-5-7-7
Heat
My darling lover,
How I wish to hold you close.
Remind me again,
Why is it that you lay so,
So far away with me here.
My doting lover,
How I do care for you so.
But this summer heat,
Surely it has me beat and
Your form emits more indeed!
