Roots

Far above

The earth below

The leaves will blossom

And Some will grow

They let me live

For that I know

What it is

To be alone

Down below the roots run deep

In my skin

Your soul I’ll keep

Here and now

It’s where I’ll be

But a world without you

Is a world without me

I’ll learn to cope

To branch out and grow

But one things for certain
