sparkling snow glows

like a kindred king’s bling

my frozen face frosted with coy joy

as cries of children’s cheer shout out

caroling choirs sing long songs

a sweet smell spreads as the bells yell

merrily marking each of our hours

as couples cuddle, a Mr. and Miss kiss

under some minty mistletoe, there where

time takes them back to a very dear year
