You do not have to state what was said to them, but try to focus on your character's mindset and how they might be thinking.

I think I need a change My life has become ever so complicated I’m not quite sure where it’s leading me I have been waiting for things to happen, Expecting they would come at the right time And making lots of wishes But I think I need a change I think I need to do something I need to wake up, and reorient It’s my life after all It’s my responsibility They’re my dreams after all I should make them my reality
