Leaving You
I was sad, but happy at the same time. I was leaving my orphanage. I had lots of people there who were like family to me.
“Alright, Rosie it’s time for you to go.” One of the caretakers, Annlisa said.
“Okay..” I said, examining my new parents.
I felt a tear roll down my eye, eventually sobbing with sadness. I walked out the door, my eyes red.
I stepped into their car and sat down. As I sat in the car, I kept looking at the orphanage. My new mom, her real name was Claire said, “Honey don’t worry. We are going to treat you well.”
“Okay.” I said softly.
I wiped my tears, and eventually we were my new house. It was a meidium sized house, and kids who lived in the community were playing outside. I walked inside and then, my mom said “Your room is right here, just walk down that hallway to your left.”
I walked inside, there were plenty of things I liked! A computer, a sketchbook, stickers, and plenty of art supplies! Also a comfy bed!
“I think I’m going to like it here.” I thought.
