POEM STARTER
Write a poem using multiple rhetorical questions, where the narrator is questioning their own judgement or viewpoint.
You could use the questions to make the reader think, or to show how doubtful the narrator is of their own stance.
I don’t know who i am
I dont know who I am,
Do you?
I question myself
throughout the night
wondering what label
feels right
I know i dont fit in the good old mold
And i am
not who i used to be
All this attraction feels so new to me
I know i like guys
And of that I am sure
But i also know there is more
I dont really see a person
For what they present as
I see emotion
And deapth
Is there anything anything wrong with that
I don’t know who I am
Do you?
Its scary to think
There is more than meets the eye
I wish I had the answers
And could do more than just cry
I dont know if I’m Bi
But straight is a no
Because I like more than guys
Of that I am sure
I am scared of what this means
Of the future past and present
Don’t judge me
Because that makes it worse
And its already Unpleasant
