As I lay there,

Staring at the sky,

Not bothering to

Wonder why

I was in the midst

Of this meadow

Full of

Wildflowers.

All these colors

That I see,

These wildflowers

That now surround me,

They range from

Bright to pastel

And all throughout

The rainbow.

Their petals,

They shine,

Covered in

Dew,

It reminds me of life,

Of starting anew.

Sunlight shines down,

Highlighting their beauty,

In this meadow,

All is tranquil.
