POEM STARTER
Write a series of haikus about the view from your window.
Haikus have a 3-line syllabic structure of 5-7-5. Perhaps your haikus can form a series of changing time, seasons, or different aspects of the view.
LA Sunsets
I can’t see the ground
Only rare, low-hanging clouds
I live in the sky
A single palm tree
Hanging sideways, clouds my view
But I can’t complain
Orange, yellow, blue
Endless summers in LA
Always sunset hues
